Building community is what Stone Soup for the World is all about. It's about caring for one another, working together, supporting each other and listening to each other. It's about accepting each other for what we are and valuing each other for our differences, as well as our similarities. Most of all this book shows us that there are many, many ways to make changes for the better in our communities and in our lives.
Stone Soup for the World, also teaches us how we can reach out beyond the boundaries of our own communities and make a difference on the other side of town or the other side of the world. As members of the business community, we can use this book as a springboard to the future. If you are a Leader's and are committed to kids, you will use Stone Soup for the World as an indispensable handbook. We can bring our communities together around projects that improve the quality of life for everyone, not just the privileged few. we can give our young people a real purpose, a real function in our community and in the community of life. We can start by sharing with them a copy of Stone Soup for the World, where together we can see the results of the efforts of people just like us.
